What Bifrost offers today
An overview of the current feature set. Bifrost is in pilot, so this list evolves.
Data validation
Each column can carry validation rules, so errors are caught when data is entered.
- Rules per column: ranges, lengths, patterns, allowed values and uniqueness
- Number, date and text constraints (decimals, business days, formatting)
- Validation on manual entry and on file import
- Row-level error reporting for CSV and Excel imports
Team collaboration
Per-table roles and a review step for submitted data.
- Per-table roles: creator, viewer and approver
- Draft, pending and approved states; approving your own submission is not allowed
- Colleagues join by email invitation
- Submission and approval history per row
Version control
Changes are kept as history rather than overwritten.
- Every edit creates a new row version
- Earlier row versions remain viewable
- Deleted rows are deactivated, not destroyed
- Table definitions can be versioned as they evolve
Also included
The practical basics are covered as well.
- Tables with text, number, date and yes/no columns
- Bulk import from CSV and Excel
- CSV and Excel template export
- Search, filtering and sorting
- Works in desktop and mobile browsers
